ADD and ADHD Treatment
End The Symptoms – Naturally
ADD and ADHD can cause people to be easily distracted, impulsive, and inattentive. These symptoms are not a discipline problem, they can be directly related to underlying brainwave imbalances. That`s why normal discipline works so poorly – the child truly cannot control their actions.
Neurofeedback Can Improve The Brain`s Balance
Neurofeedback training can correct the source of these symptoms – the brain. The training is fun and enjoyable. It`s designed to help the brain learn to become more balanced. ADHD and ADD can be associated with too many Delta and Theta brain waves. Typically, these brain waves are dominant when the brain is in deep relaxation, instead of active and alert. Neurofeedback helps improve the balance of these brainwaves, resulting in a reduction, or, in many cases, can eliminate the symptoms of ADD or ADHD entirely. The training uses the brain`s natural ability to learn to help it function in a more efficient, healthier manner.
One Patient`s Experience:
“To be honest, the most impactful thing I have gotten out of it neurofeedback is a real tangible sense of calm in situations I used to find overwhelming. But focus as well, for sure. (And really, ADD for me was always about both focus and anxiety—or at least my brain racing and overreacting.)
“My dad is doing neuro here in Florida, and the amount it has stopped his slipping memory is amazing. It has completely halted it. This is just to say that I’m a big believer in Neurofeedback, in general.” Brad B
How does neurofeedback improve brain function?
Remember when you first learned to ride a bike? Over time, with repetition and practice, you learned how to stay balanced, and could ride safely in all types of conditions. The feedback portion of our training works much the same way, only it is painless, and can be done by anyone, regardless of physical coordination. A recent study published by the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB) and the International Society for Neuronal Regulation (ISNR) showed that patients noted marked improvement in approximately 75% of the patients.
